WELCOME to Yesterday's Book Shop.  Our family started selling in 1966 under the name Collector's Corner, operating in a small town called Walkersville, MD.  In 1975 my father changed the name to Yesterday's Book Shop and eventually moved to Delaware where he operated several storefronts in the Rehoboth Beach, Millsboro and Lewes areas.

In the mid-2000's his health forced him to close his storefront though he continued to operate out of antique malls when he was able to.  As his son, I was planning on taking over the family business once I retired.  Sadly, my father passed away just a few years before I was able to join him in managing the family business.  I'm a disabled veteran and all that is left of the family business, but I have very high standards as far as customers are concerned, just like my father did when he operated the business. 

The brick and mortar inventory is nearly all gone. What I am selling off now is his private inventory - what he always called his "BOB" the Best Of the Best books he came across in collecting over the past 70+ years.  When he passed, I inherited his private collection and am now in the process of slowly selling off his personal library.  There are approximately 13,000 books left, each hand-picked well before the days of the internet and packed away for years.  Currently, I have about 40% of the titles listed and try to add a few dozen more titles each month.

Please note: if there are typos in the book listings please let me know.  As a disabled vet, I usually have to rely on speech-to-text software to enter data and sometimes there are errors in what is transcribed.

If you would like additional images of any of the books we have for sale, please let me know.  I am not interested in purchasing books as this is not a business.  I am downsizing and selling off a large collection and once the books are gone the name Yesterday's Book Shop will be no more.
