Impressively illustrated with a map and a seires of engravings. Ninth impression, published April 1904. Front end page has top edge cut out though page show's author's signature and address (Amesbury, Mass). Also Included with book is a flyer entitled: Whittier's Home At Amesbury (1914) which is a 10 page flyer of tales and poetry. DJ shows soiling and small tears along edges. Uncommon to find signed with DJ intact. Binding tight, boards are maroon and as clean and bright as new. ; Signed by Author
