Book/DJ Condition: VG+ 8vo 8" - 9" tall; 364 pp; This very rare volume includes chapters devoted to malaria, scurvy, camp fevers, typho-malarial fever, chronic malarial poisoning, jaundice, camp diarrhea, acute enteritis, acute dystentery, chronic diarrhea, camp measles, catarrh, pneumonia, and pseudo-rheumatic affections, among others. Brown boards with gilt on spine. Spine sunned, corners softened but oveall book is straight and tight. Price was written in pencil on end page but has since been erased. Following end page has inscription stating the book was "inspected and condemned Sept. 27, 1892 - sold to Pvt. Fenner H. C Nov 25th, 1892, Sold by Pvt. Fenner H. C. To Lt. E. R. Fink Nov.26, '92". No other handwriting found in book. Binding strong, no cracks noted. No library markings or bookplates.
